ABOUT THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST - APOSTOLIC, INC.

Welcome to the Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic. We welcome each and every one in the name and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic is an independent, “non-denominational,” “non-sectarian,” continuum of the faith delivered by our Lord Jesus Christ to His Apostles and handed down from generation to generation until our Lord’s glorious return.

Some may think it strange to classify the Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic as a non-denominational organization. However, in reality our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ never spoke about, proclaimed or mandated that His Church should be separated into denominational or sectarian groups. He simply stated that, “Upon this rock I shall build My church.”

The Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic promotes the faith that was delivered to the original twelve Apostles. We practice, teach, preach, exercise and promote faith in the virgin-born, crucified, dead, buried and resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We acknowledge the fullness of the God-head, contained bodily in the person of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and believe Him to be the only, true, living, holy and righteous God made manifest in the flesh.

The Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic is a ministry-oriented body of believers. We encourage our members to be active in serving the Lord our God by serving His people with patience, love, peace, understanding and truth. The Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic focuses on the vital aspects of authentic New Testament ministry. Therefore, we are more concerned about the people’s souls than the religious “format” they may observe. Our job – our mission – our passion is to win souls for Christ – not ourselves.

The Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic is one church with many members in several locations. Our Lord is coming back for only one church – His Church, which He purchased with the ultimate price of His blood. We do not separate ourselves from the whole of the body of Christ, as this would make the church – the body of Christ inoperable. Instead, we maintain that each believer in Christ is a vital member of the body, and it is therefore our duty and responsibility to maintain the integrity of the whole body – not a denomination.

Our goal is to glorify Christ in all we do. It is our deepest desire to lift up the name of Jesus and give Him praise, glory and honor. By our example, we hope to win some to Christ and assist them in their walk of faith, hope and love.
